Malt & Brew Workshop scheduled for April 6

Experience firsthand the art of crafting and brewing with specialty malts on April 6 at Briess Malt & Ingredients Co. in Chilton, Wisconsin. Presented in conjunction with the 2010 Craft Brewers Conference in Chicago, the Briess Malt & Brew Workshop features a tour of the unique Briess malting operation and 500-bbl brewery/extract plant.

Workshops will be presented on the art of malting and handcrafting specialty malts, characteristics and applications of specialty malts, sensory, and the Briess sustainability program.

Preregistration is required and is limited to 50 participants currently working in a licensed commercial brewery. Cost is $50 with bus transportation or $25 without bus transportation. Meals and beer included. Instructions for registering are on the Registration Form:
