I’ve been in the brewing industry for many years but had never run across these before! In visiting with head brewer Dean at Pike Brewing Company last week they were filling these 5 gallon plastic kegs as “one-way” shipments; the brewery expects them to be recycled on the user end. The kegs slide into a rubber “c-keg” shape and is basically just a large PET bottle. After hearing about plastic kegs exploding this looked to be a very interesting idea indeed!
