I love going to visit the gang down at Anchor in San Fran! I was fortunate enough to get an invite to their Christmas Ale Party on the 6th of December, a great crowd and a truly wonderful time. This is the 38th release of their “Special Ale” which is a wonderful product for the winter. As they had about 500+ people in attendance they really pulled out all the stops with a great spread of food (can you say “bacon jam“?) and beer. The brewhouse staff had all the copper shined up for the event as you can see evident in the picture. And if you have not tried their Brekle’s Brown Ale you need to track some down, it’s an outstanding product. Thanks Anchor for having me over for your holiday gig and I’ll see you in the new year!
