Prescott Brewing Company recently brewed a special commemorative beer in collaboration with 35 independent brewers and members of the AZ Craft Brewers Guild. This beer is to honor those 19 brave Granite Mountain Hotshots who died while battling the Yarnell Hill Fire. This American-style Brown Ale was brewed with 19 hop varieties along with all Briess 2-row and specialty malt. All proceeds from this brew will go to the Prescott Fire Fighters Charity and then to the families of the fallen firefighters.
Prescott Brewing Co. and the AZ Craft Brewers Guild is also encouraging other brewers around the country to brew a batch with a portion of the proceeds going to help raise funds for these families.
