The DC Homebrewers Club earned the spoils of the Briess CBC malt display at the end of the two-day Craft Brewers Conference BrewExpo in Washington DC, thanks to the efforts of club member Josh Perry. Josh helped disassemble the display which included more than 200 pounds of fresh malt and loaded it in his car via assistance from one very small hand cart. Nice job Josh!
Each tube contained about seven pounds of malt. There were more than 30 tubes ranging from Pilsen Malt to Midnight Wheat Malt. Thanks for lending a helping hand with the display, Josh! It’s nice knowing the malt will go to good use with your club.
