The last time I visited Shades of Pale (SP), they were at a tiny location that was great for a startup, but left little room to expand. This visit, I was excited to see Shades of Pale moving into a much larger space with much more room for brewing and expansion, and their business is thriving.
When I met up with Trent Fargher, CEO, President, Founder, and Brewmaster of SP, his Briess hat was covered in dust and he was well equipped with a mask and safety glasses. He had been working away at on their new space at the new 131 Commonwealth. This building will feature a Tasting Room that visitors will be able to see Trent and his team working their magic and making their brews as they sip their crisp, fresh beer. The space also offers room to barrel age their brews and host private events in the future, which will be a great complement to their tap room.
