Indeed the holiday season is here! I found myself in Astoria, OR (where The Goonies was filmed back in the ’80s) visiting Fort George Brewing and had the luck to meet with owner/brewer Jack Harris. He was just returning with his brew staff from the annual Christmas tree cutting, good timing. Jack tells me that the previous owner of the property of his brewery has a tree farm and lets Fort George Brewing cut a tree down, this year it’s a 25 footer that will look great decorated on their patio.
