Quantity Ingredient Comment Malt Style 5 lbs Wheat Malt, Red Wheat 5 lbs Goldpils® Vienna Malt Base 1.5 oz Hersbrucker (3.0% AA hop) 60 minute boil 0.5 oz Hersbrucker (3.0% AA hop) 10 minute boil 1 vial WLP351 Bavarian Weizen Yeast 1 capsule Servomyces Yeast Nutrient 10 minute boil
Procedures
- Mash grains at 108ºF for 10 minutes
- Slowly bring temperature to 148ºF
- Mash at 148ºF for 30-45 minutes
- Heat to 170ºF
- Lauter
- Boil with bittering hops for 60 minutes
- Cool to 68ºF, oxygenate wort
- Pitch 1 vial WLP351 Bavarian Weizen Yeast
Primary Fermentation: 2-3 weeks at 68ºF
