Makes 7 bbl batch. Medium bodied, golden amber color with a strong floral aroma. This is a big Pale Ale!
Ingredients
400 lbs - Pale Ale Malt
25 lbs - Caramel Malt 20L
25 lbs - Carapils® Malt
1 lb - Dark Chocolate Malt
1 lb - Chinook Hops (13% AA) - Boil 90 minutes
1.4 oz - Breakbright Kettle Coagulant
2 lbs - Chinook Hops (13% AA) - Boil 20 minutes
3 lbs - Willamette Hops (5.1% AA) - End of boil
1 pkg - #1056 Wyeast American Ale Yeast
Directions
Mash at 155ºF for 45 minutes
Sparge at 170ºF
Knock out at 70ºF
Oxygenate highly
