Belgian Pilsner
This all-malt pilsner is brewed with Belgian Lager Yeast and contains an abundance of hops in true pilsner style.

Ingredients

10 lbs - Pilsen Malt
0.5 lb - Carapils® Malt
1.5 oz - Tettnanger (4.0% AA hop) - 60 minute boil
0.5 oz - Tettnanger (4.0% AA hop) - 30 minute boil
0.5 oz - Saaz (4.5% AA hop) - 30 minute boil
0.5 oz - Tettnanger (4.0% AA hop) - 15 minute boil
0.5 oz - Saaz (4.5% AA hop) - 15 minute boil
2 oz - Saaz (4.5% AA hop) - 0 minute boil
1 vial - WLP815 Belgian Lager Yeast
1 capsule - Servomyces Yeast Nutrient - 10 minute boil

Directions

Mash grains at 148-152ºF for 45 minutes
Heat to 170ºF
Lauter
Boil with bittering hops for 60 minutes
Add second hop addition, boil 15 minutes
Add third hop addition, boil 15 minutes
Add final hop addition at kettle knock out
Cool to 66ºF, oxygenate wort
Pitch 1 vial WLP815 Blegian Lager Yeast
At first sign of fermentation cool to 52ºF
