Extra Special Malt brings new meaning to the word "complex" in this rich, complex and moderately strong brew.

Ingredients

11 lbs - Goldpils® Vienna Malt
1.5 lbs - Carapils® Malt
8 oz - Wheat Malt, White
8 oz - Extra Special Malt
1 oz - Mt. Hood Hops (6% AA) - Boil 90 minutes
0.5 oz - Sterling Hops (7.5% AA) - Boil 30 minutes
0.5 oz - Sterling Hops (7.5% AA) - Boil 5 minutes
1 vial - WLP072 French Ale Yeast

Directions

Mash at 151ºF for 60 minutes
Sparge at 170ºF
Knock out at 65ºF
Oxygenate highly
Cool to 72ºF
Oxygenate and pitch yeast
