Honey of a Gluten Free Lager
Medium to darker honeys blend with the sorghum flavor and combines well with the citrusy floral aroma hops.

Ingredients

3.75 lbs - BriesSweet™ White Sorghum Syrup 45DE High Maltose
1.5 lbs - Honey - Medium to dark
0.5 lb - Corn Syrup - Medium conversion
0.5 oz - Hallertau Hops (6% AA) - Beginning of boil
0.75 oz - Cascade Hops - Last 10 minutes of boil
0.75 oz - Saaz Hops - End of boil
2 pkgs - Dry Lager Yeast - Substitute Wyeast 2206GF Gluten-free Yeast
1 cup - Honey - Bottling

Directions

Bring 4 gallons of water to a boil
Add syrups and honey
Stir vigorously to dissolve
Bring to a boil
Add bittering hops and continue to boil
Add finishing hops as indicated
Remove from heat
Cool to 55-60ºF
Transfer to primary fermenter
Fill to desired level with cold water
Oxygenate and pitch yeast
